It would seem that Bianchi's patent on the Speed Strip has expired.

This sort of thing for big bore wheelgunners is LONG overdue...

It always surprised me that they didn't make any for 44mag. I only own 357s so it didn't matter much to me.

I found 3 packs of Bianchis in a $1 box at a gun show once.

Thanks for the Report Stephen. As always, I enjoy reading and highly respect everything you have to say.

I carry the Bianchi strips for my 38spl, loaded with what I believe to still be your favorite, the Remington 158gr lswchp +p. I will have to pick up one of those pouches, they seem like a really handy thing to have.

Thanks again.

Hello and thanks for the kind words. Yes, my favored .38 Special defense load remains the Remington LHP +P.

Best to you and yours.

How well would the pouches work as a "dump pouch" for loose rounds?
I tried and no, it does not work. My attempt was with a Ruger Blackhawk 45 Colt. The recess area is so deep that in order to get the cartride into place, the strip must be bent completely backward and the other cartridges fall out.
It is a good way to carry spare ammo though. With a little practice, I have been able to pick cartridges off and insert individually. It is perhaps a little faster than getting loose cartridges from a pouch and having to orient them for insertion.
Somebody else please try this and let us know how it works.

I did not realize that Mr. Camp is a member here. Most excellent!
