I wouldn't wear anything that says "I'm carrying." Well, except my really cool black Sig Sauer hat. But that's it.

Maybe a "Bio-Hazard" symbol? Perhaps a exterior warning note on how to safely empty a Colonostopy Bag?

Trust in two things:

1. Safari vests (or others) are a giveaway that you're carrying. CCW holders can spot you as fast as criminals.

2. Those patches just invite theft. I shoot photography on the side and the last thing I would do is advertise my equipment unless it's dangling around my neck.

I added an AMSOIL patch to my vest. Usually wear an AMSOIL hat and sometimes a shirt, as I'm an AMSOIL dealer and keeps things discreat.

I just buy a cheap cheap jansport or other bag and modify it to accept and hold a holster. Those Gunbag fanny packs all scream "I've got a gun", just as much as an expensive product bag screams "Rob me". I've only used it a few times, but a well modified fanny pack can be quite comfortable.
