"Camoflauging" a vest or fanny pack??

Has anyone bothered with adding a patch such as NIKON, or CANON to their vest or fanny pack used for concealent. I have heard it suggested in that past.

Hinting that there's an expensive camera inside saying "Please Steal Me!"?

If you want to add a patch, add...an IDPA Champion...

I have a couple of Hornady patches if you want. Camouflage? Black is always good. I like black, and everything black.

A rainbow patch is most appropriate on a fanny pack.

That is easy to solve. Instead, use a cheap camera label that in effect says "You would not want to steal this piece of junk."

Add a couple of fishing pins to your vest for diversion. Be read to talk about fishing a lot though. For the fanny pack, I'd suggest a cute zipper puller similar to the ones here

Why don't I just buy a "Glock" patch and attach it to the fanny pack This would make the criminal's day? I've never been a fan of fanny packs all the same.

That's why I not a fan of ladies purses with gun pockets. How many times have we heard of "purse snatchings?" There has to be a good viable alternative to carrying a gun in a "gun purse."

I wear vests A LOT......The people that know me, think it is unusual for me NOT to wear one. (they DON'T know I'm armed).

As to the 'sheeple'....they don't notice. The only people that pay any attention are other 'carriers'.....& the most I get from them is a head nod.

I don't have any patches or other 'ads' on any of them.

There has been a lot of debate here about wearing vests.....some pro, others con.

But after carrying for nearly 20 years now & most of them with a vest of some kind.......I'm NOT changing! As I said the 'sheeple' don't notice & IF any BGs do notice, they aren't thinking 'He's might be carrying a gun, so let's rob him!.'.....If they notice, they steer clear, which is just fine with me.......
