Surefire G2 currently. It used to be the E2D with the beatdown ring, err...strike bezel.

I carry the Fenix LD20 FTW. It's got

• Cree brand Q5 LED with a life of 50,000 hours (approx)
• Two output modes (select by slightly twisting the bezel): General and Turbo
• General mode has 3 light levels* plus SOS; 9 lumens (71 hrs), 47 lumens (13 hrs), 94 lumens
(5 hrs) and SOS (Output is based on the use of alkaline batteries. See note below
if using lithium batteries.)
• Turbo mode; 180 lumens (2 hrs) and strobe

This is what I use as a back up for my Streamlight Stinger, it really cuts through the darkness big time, and the best thing about it is it uses 2 AA batteries. I can stop in practically ANY store and get AA batteries. I usually use my rechargeable NiMH batteries.

All through my Police Academy, my classmates were interested in the light and they loved the fact that you could use readily available AA batteries and still get 180 lumens out of it for 2 hours. You can even get those lithium AAs if you wish.

The only disadvantage is that it doesn't come with a clip. I solved that by getting the clip from my mini mag light. It fits perfectly!

+1. This is exactly the light I carry every day.

It's a great all purpose light. Uses 3 "AAA" batteries. They last a good long time too in this light. Mine even came with a good belt carrier for the light.

I've got a black and a SS LOD. You're going to like that little light a lot. Super easy to carry everyday and very bright for it's size.

I use 2 different lights:

For carry, I use my trusty Surefire 6P, I converted it to an LED model last Christmas.

For the house, I use a Streamlight Stinger LED model........
