I carry either the E2D led defender or a G@ with LED conversion.

It was a Surefire E2, Non-LED, then I was issued a Streamlight Scorpion for work...now I am on an E1L Surefire. It is my go everywhere light and my E2 is in the GFs purse.

![]() The Novatac 120P has been my everyday light for almost nine months now, and I imagine it will be my everyday light nine months from now, too. As for why, I wrote an article on my site:Six Months with the Novatac 120P |

ToddG - Have you ever considered carrying a larger, more powerful light? I can think of a few situations where the added throw would be a real plus. OMO, YMV.

United93, the Novatac 120P is plenty bright for any tactical or common task. I personally carry one of the newer two level Surefire E2Ls, but depending on what I am doing or where I am going I may chose to instead (or also) carry any of the following:
Surefire L1 Surefire E2DL (single level, high only) Surefire G2 Fenix E20 Fenix TA30 Mag85 (3D maglite modified with WA1185 bulb and a 9xAA nimh pack, good for over 1000 lumens) Streamlight Stylus
