Books on Alarm Systems?
Anybody know of any books on how to install home alarm systems? My new house is wired but the installation was never finished.
Sorry if it sounds stupid. |

Not many.
IMHO, don't go down that road. I've seen a few but they are all written for apprentice training. If you truly are looking to protect your property and family, call a reputable LOCAL alarm company. You might find a guy who is willing to install the equipment you provide. Just make sure it is a brand they are familiar with so they can install it quickly and effectively and use all of the available features it can offer. You will want to find a good company to monitor it as well. An alarm with out monitoring is like an unloaded firearm, intimidating but ineffective!
