I looked at gun shows. I did all the internet exploring and bought what I believe to be the best bag for the money. Midway. About 1/2 to 1/4 of other similar bags. Have had it a couple of years now and have no complaints.

Not the Midway bag but available for cheap from Midway:
MidwayUSA - GunMate Range Bag Nylon Black I've been using this one with good results. It holds A LOT of stuff. I can actually get 4 pistols (small), a bunch of mags, ammo, 2 sets of ears/eyes, some tools/cleaning stuff, etc. in there just fine.

I'll second the Bagmaster line of range bags. Very good quality and made in the USA.

I've got the Midway USA bag. It's a nice bag for not much money. The only problem is that it's a bit on the large side. I tend to stuff it full of all sorts of crap and it ends up being pretty heavy.

I use a Sears Craftsman tool bag, it has spots for the magazines for my AR etc.
I stands open by iteself and is not readily viewed as a gun bag. |

Do yourself a favor. Get the Midway range bag. I bought three range bags before I learned my lesson. You'll thank me later. $39.
