Leatherman Tools

I had a Leatherman super tool back when I was in the service and I broke the pliers, it's been sitting in my nightstand for about 15 years now. While surfing the web found their web site and the address to send it to if broken. Spent the $4.00 to mail it in and 5 days later got a brand new, new model, tool as they didn't make mine any more. Now that's a warranty.

Darn, I threw mine away a couple years ago when I broke the pliers. I should have joined this forum sooner. O well, congrats on the new tool.

I had a Supertool 200 - set it on the bumper of my truck and drove off, I don't think they'll replace that

My wife replaced it with a Victorinox - I don't like it quite as much

It's good to hear that they have good warranty service since I own a Leatherman as well, and I think it's a great tool.

At the same time, Tim Leatherman is a RABID liberal and gave very generous donations to the Kerry campaign. (I found this out a couple of years after buying a Leatherman) IIRC, he had some very harsh words for Bush in the last campaign.

My wife has a Gerber multi-tool and it has held up as good or better than my Leatherman. I may give Gerber a try next time, but it's good to hear about the great service you received.

I love my Vic, use it almost daily and it's still almost as tight as new!

Just like my Sig 220, don't know when it'll loosen up.....

That sounds like excellent service - I am impressed. I carry my Wave daily and would hate to be without it.

Mine was issued when I was in USAF. I still have it and the memories that go with it. I rarely carry it though.
