Thumbs up Electronic hearing Protection

I use the Peltor 6s and love them. I am an instructor and carry a couple of pairs so that if I have students on a crowded range they can hear me with no problems.

I've used ProEars for over 5 years and no problems, and they work great.

Get the MSA Soridins. I had Pro-Ears Dimensions but stopped using them because

1) Not water resistant (may not be important to you)
2) Knobs turn on and off in my range bag
3) Batteries kept falling out of the earpro while in my bag, due to the odd mounting slots
4) cups are too big for rifle
5) non-standard battery

Those do look good especially in the $200ish category. I like the lower profile style muffs.

BTW, what muffs does the guy on Future Weapons wear? They look electronic and low profile. Looks like he chose them out of personal choice since nobody is plugging them on the show. Must be good if he's wearin' them.

I have Peltor Tactical 7 Classics that I have used for at least 6 years. Work great easy battery change and no issues.

Only compliant is the vol knob always seem to turn on in my range bag so I now remove the battery.

Just a quick up date, I ordered the Pro Ears Pro Tac Gold for the reasons I had mentioned. The best part was they give Law Enforcement discounts. I had a choice of "N"batteries or Lithium Ion 123. They have been shipped & are due around July-27. I'll give an update when I try them out . Again thanks to everyone for the input.

All of those are great brands I have the Peltor 6S myself. You need to read up on actual NRR (Noise Reduction Rating). And see which one is the best for YOUR money.
