22LR coversion mags for AR15

I bought some conversion mags from Tactical Defense Solutions,they are 30 round mags with a finger pull you can pull the follower down for easy loading,the Mags had COLT on the package and they will not fit into the magwell of either a Colt M16 or any of my AR15's they are too wide and possibly too long.I sent a PM th TDS.Hopefully this will save somebody the hassle of buying mags that don't fit until they resolve the problem,

Got a reply back from TDS the Magazines are for the Colt Umarex 22LR M4/M16 rifles,they will not fit regulat AR15/M16 rifles.I guess colt doesn't want you using Blackdog or Ciener magazines in their guns.I didn't know there was a rifle named the Umarex,I thought it was like the mag material

The Colt Umarex is the dedicated .22lr AR from Colt. Made by Umarex IIRC, and sold by Colt.
