Exclamation OC Spray

I'm looking for a good quality OC/Pepper spray for my wife and two daughters and would appreciate any advice that would be helpful. Only requirements are that it be 2 oz. or less and that it functions well. Specific brands or labels of what you know works would be helpful. Thanks.

Fox is a good one, I have others that are good also, all 15%, check your state laws to make sure there are no % limits on it

get the cone spray, it kicks in faster than foam and has better coverage with the spray
get a couple extra for them to practice with and perhaps even get a little blown back in their face so they can know what to expect

Search online, there are a lot of places to get it

If loose gun laws are good for criminals, why do criminals support gun control?

Saber is another good one. I should know I've been hit with it, it will drop most. Considering I did the tear gas chamber in basic and it didnt effect me and Saber dropped me like a brick.

Forget pepper spray. It's not wise to use it indoors, because you're very likely to absorb a debilitating amount of the spray yourself. It's also fairly common for it to blow back on you when you're outdoors.

Get pepper gel instead. The gel is safe to use inside and out, with very little chance of blow back and self-contamination. Pepper gel also has better range than spray or foam, with an effective distance usually around 18 feet.

Pepper gel is also more effective at stopping aggressors, due to the fact that it sticks to their eyes, nose and mouth like glue. Nasty stuff that's virtually impossible to wipe away without making things worse.

I recommend 10% OC with UV dye. I use MACE brand, but there are several companies out there that make a quality product.

Gel, eh? Hm. I've heard the argument that foam is a bad idea because the bad guy can scoop it off and fling it back on you.

Any thoughts on the foam comment?

And do you feel such comments apply to or don't apply to the gel? Sounds like good stuff!

my wife carries Fox ASP, she's never had to use it, so I can't give you a review! It's designed to be used as a fist pack too in case it comes to hand to hand fighting.
