I have one and it works fine for me. It's a touch small but for 1 or 2 (max) pistols, I dont need anything else. When I go to the range, it's usually to shoot my EDC so the bag only contains muffs, safety glasses, ammo, bore snake and a small can of Break-Free. I can still get another pistol in it if need be. It's really all I need. I think I paid less than 20 bux for mine.

As others have said, the Midway bag is probably the best money you'll ever spend for a range bag, especially when it's on sale. I have two of them and they are tough, durable, have pockets galore and come with extras. If there's any difference (other than a logo) between the Midway bag and the 5.11 Tactical bag for $119.99, I can't see it. Get the Midway bag and buy ammo with the extra $80.00.

Eagle Industries*::*Bags*::*Gear Bags*::*Deluxe Pro Shooter Bag and Insert
This is what I carry and I love it. The insert has 2 pistol pouches The dividers are removable and adjustable and each is made like a small pocket (Great for ear plugs, pens, holster allen keys, batteries, etc) It currently has m cleaning kit in the front pocket (Hoppes Deluxe Kit) 2 pairs of ears and eyes, earplugs, 2 pistols, 500 rds of 9mm, 50 rds of .38, 150 rds or .17hm2, 2 mag pouches, 4 pens, 4 AA batteries, target pasters, orange spots, rim fire targets in a folder, 2 speed loaders, binoculars, tape, glow sticks, staples and a stapler, a baseball cap, a lighter, a few tools in a pouch, a pocket knife, extra mags and I'm sure there is more. I'm sure it could still easily hold my rain gear and a few hundred more rds. There is still 4 inches of headspace in the bag and I can reach in and pull anything out without digging. It is expensive but it is a great bag. |
