I actually like the Photon Rex, keychain light but really bright. It also is rechargable with included charger from any battery under 2volts. Meaning less money spent on batteries and easily charged up. Its not quite as bright as a 2AA maglight, but its very close. Its keychain size and multiple modes from variable brightness, strobe, blinking, and SOS.

I have a mini mag with me most of the time, but for my EDC I have one of these in the second pocket of my quickstrip pouch

At my local store, this product just went through a packaging change. The old packaged ones went to $10 on Clearance, and I bought 2 of them. This is a nice little light. I just wish it had a pocket clip, otherwise it's about perfect for my needs...

I have several of the 9 LED lights with 3 AAA cells. This new light is drastically brighter. In a lit room, I quickly flashed the light arcoss my eyes to see how bright it was, and I had a streak "in my eyes" for many seconds. Catching 115 lumens in the eyes, by surprise in the night, would certainly effect night vision long enough to gain significant advantage.

It's called thre Coleman Max. 2xCR2 batts, Duracells included.

So far Coleman Max seems to actually be a pretty good light. It fits nice in the side of my NiteIze phone holster.

Photon Gun

My favorite carry light is the LED Lenser T7. It's a little too big for pocket carry most of the time (but it fits in my fall and winter jacket pockets just fine).

At 200 lumens (for real) it's my photon gun on a belt. It comes with a very nice black ballistic nylon belt holster:

Just a word of caution... don't forget your light in your pocket when you toss your pants in the laundry!

My wife found my Fenix P1D-CE and it now lives in her purse!

I just had to order another Fenix P1D-CE for me.

I'm guessing your wife knows my wife. Every time I find a new gadget I like, I end up having to buy another one for HER.
