The little, open-top bag that comes INSIDE the $40 Midway bag is just the right size for what you asked about. Both the big and little bag are high quality. The little bag has side slots for two handguns, and velcroed dividers so you can divide the main compartment into three sub-compartments. I put eye/ear protection in one, a few hundred rounds of ammo in the middle, and magazines, etc. in the third. Works great.
