It is down to the individual posting to ensure safe standards and to readers to verify what they read - it is they finally who bear responsibility for useage of information. Remember - typos can occur! We strongly recommend that in most cases quoted loads be derived from recognized loading manuals and if possible these should be referenced. Where loads do not have back-up reference data available, for instance with use of an unusual powder, then posters are asked to please detail their method for establishing their data. Irresponsible publishing of unsubstantiated ''guestimated'' data is deprecated and may be heavily moderated. |

I tend to favor Lyman's 48th. Edition. Lots of load data and many hints.

Depends on what you are reloading for. Overall, the Lyman manuals are good, but for specific bullets ya cant beat the manufacturers loadings by a whole lot.

Lyman is a favorite and has a lot of good info.Don't limit yourself to just one. They all have different data and information.I have a small library, but you don't have to be that much of a fanatic
.Having more than one gives more choices to compare. Hornady is another good one that comes to mind.![]()

does the lyman cover lots of different bullets, powders, and calibers?
i have one specifically for the .45 which has a lot of bullet-powder combos. But i would also like something with 'all' calibers (at least .45, .38, 9mm, 7.62x54R -my current guns). as well as data such as appropriate case lengths, etc. |
