Good thought Tubby - another 2 thou would be ideal. Guess I may get around to it one day!

With the cost of lead these days, casting may be the way to go.

It does take alot of time, but the time it takes is worth it...more so than ever before.

My time is always free. I do not take time into account when bullet casting or loading ammo just as someone who doesn't cast or load doesn't take into account driving to the store, waiting to be helped, checking out, driving back home when they buy their ammo. Time means nothing to me. I got all the time in the world.

People just can't stomach the actual monetary cost of making your own bullets. On other forums I've had others who pay upwards of a dime a bullet for jacketed throw in the "time" thing. I just laugh. I make 33 bullets for the same cost as one of their commercial bullets. They are wasting money, I'm streching my dollar.

It's been a few years since I fired up the pot. I like Keith style semi-wadcutters in the .44 and .45, also can do .358 SWCs. I can cast for .38-40, .45-70, and .308.
