Ooo Tubby, I don't know about that .375 H&H out of a pistol. That might be just too much fun for me to stand.

The little .256 Winchester could be an intriguing cartridge to play with. It could see a lot of use if one handloads.

I don't currently load any pistol cartridges. I reload only for my bolt action rifles, and they are 6.5x55, 22-250, and .308win. In the future, I'd like to get a .260 rem barrel for the .308 and form my own cases for the .260 necking down the .308 brass and using some of my .264 bullets. I think the 6.5mm is awesome!

Yeah and it has that good-looking tapered barrel that I like. Is that a Mountain Gun in .41 Magnum. I'm gonna have "forum envy".

Still working on the 375 H&H. Got a rifle barrel I'm going to cut down and have a brake installed. Barrel should be about 14-15" with brake. Shooting mostly cast bullets. Cheap as hell.

Waiting on my .256 barrel from the TC custom shop. Got some 60gr SP to play with. Saving up for a mold. 95% of my shooting is cast bullets.

Here's the Encore as it sits now. Was going to send the barrel off to get it cut, faced, and threaded for the brake. Money is tight right now so I might do it myself and get it threaded for the brake later when I get the brake. I can send it with the barrel and he can fit it better than going off measurements.

25 years ago I shot a Contender Super 14 with a full-power .35 Remington load and it was pretty wild. Your .375 ought to REALLY be something!

I really like the idea of that .256 Winchester as a fun gun/cartridge. Something like a modernized .25-50.
