where to find fed hydra shok
I was looking at some data showing federals hydrashok
as being a good pd bullet. Looking around the web i can't seem to locate this bullet for reloading.Who makes this bullet? Is it made just by federal or is it called something else.and Just named hydra shok by fed. thanks |

I never found that bullet as a separate item ... but the Speer JHP is available and a good bullet for reloading - if that is you want reloaded rounds for CC.
Contraversial subject using reloads but on balance I think for CC factory is better bet - just in case!.

yea i looked for it at some of my suppliers but can't seem to find it.
Makes me wonder if it isn't like a speer golddot just called hydrashok by federal |

The Hydrashock tho is unique in having the ''post'' in the center .......... so not like the GD bullet at all ... in fact the only bullet I know of that has the post.
I suspect this is only available in loaded factory ammo.

Federal will not release the Hydrashok bullet as a component. The Speer Gold Dot is available as a component bullet and is a better bullet in my experience.
