shotshell reloading
Anyone know anthing about shotshell reloading esp. w/ a MEC 650 in 12ga? I went to a gunshow and bought the MEC 650 and 500+ AA hulls for $70. It is missing the primer seating assembly (~$11) and the Auto primer system (~$40). Was wondering since I need the auto primer should I upgrade to the larger feeder($49)? Also anyone know if you need anything else to install the primer seater? I just have a hole where it's supposed to be.
Someone sold me ~65lbs 1/2 #6, and 1/2 #2 for $50. I hope to try out the new toy soon when I get more info.

Don't know anything about the 650. I load on a 600JR single stage.
I would upgrade to the larger feeder, especially on a progressive. I'm getting one for my loader. |
