I'm getting ready to load for my Enfield, and want to load lead to save $$$. I'm going to follow the fine suggestions at castboolits.com, but I have one problem. My gun likes Spitzers and all I find are RN for the 303 brit. I've tried JSP (Remington) before and they always hung up. Any one know of cast spitzers for the 303? Can you use the 762x39 cast bullets for the 303? Any ideas if the lead rn would hangup like the jsp?

Plan to use 2400 if that makes a difference, but your powder suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try the Lee 312155-2R. Its a spitzer design (as far as lead goes anyhow) and is a gas check design that shoots well in the .303. Since you are on CastBoolits, do a search there as there is a multitude of info on it.

I got a Lee six-banger on a group buy a couple of years ago. It shoots great in most Milsurps.

The bullets for the 7.72 are a bit light and alot shorter but are OK for some really mild plinking loads. May not be the best for accuracy though.
