10 mm loads for a Glock 29
I am going to start loading for my G-29. I have played with 8-9.5 gns of Power Pistol behind a Hornady 155 XTP. Accuracy is ok. I was wondering if any one else loads for this particlar pistol[meaning short barrell vs. long barrell].What recipie worked for you?

Not yet, but when I get around to justifying the expense of buying the dies and supplies for this caliber with my now small amount of disposable income I will let you know and we can exchange notes!
I carry Hornady 200 gr HP and feel confident with that for CC and sometimes Buffalo Bore when at the range ;)

Sounds like a plan. I have been using the 175 Winchester STHP. Mostly because it was all i could find.

Well, my idea with the 10mm is that I need a really heavy HP because I don't want the bullet to just go straight through, doing nothing. If there were 300 Grn slugs for the 10mm I'd CC them.

9.2gr Longshot with a 180gr JHP is a sweet shooter. 9.5gr is MAX with Hodgdon date.
#9 is fun. 15.9gr is MAX with a 155gr bullet. 6gr WSF is a very good shooter. Scary accurate. 6.5gr is MAX. 12.5gr Blue Dot with a 155gr XTP is a great load. 12.9gr is MAX. 9.4gr (MAX load-Hodgdon) with a 180gr bullet is very controllable and clean. 800X is very fun with 10mm. You will need to weight each charge by hand because it meters in a PM poorly. |
