Powder charge for .40 S&W 155gr XTP w/ Unique?
I can't find starting load data anywhere online or in my manuals. I'm using Unique powder and trying to load 155gr. Hornady XTP in .40 S&W.
Anyone have a recipe? |

Closest I could find
would be:
7.2 gr Unique @ 1048 fps 1.120" OAL WSP I used the Speer Gold Dot data, crossref'd with Alliant data. While Hornady doesn't list Unique, the velocity is well within the min (950) and max (1200) recommended for the powders Hornady has listed. Did that help? I don't care for the dancing banana. |
