Reloading DefensiveCarry.com accepts no liability for reloading information posted by members. It is down to the individual posting to ensure safe standards and to readers to verify what they read - it is they finally who bear responsibility for useage of information. Remember - typos can occur!
We strongly recommend that in most cases quoted loads be derived from recognized loading manuals and if possible these should be referenced. Where loads do not have back-up reference data available, for instance with use of an unusual powder, then posters are asked to please detail their method for establishing their data. Irresponsible publishing of unsubstantiated ''guestimated'' data is deprecated and may be heavily moderated.

Shot my first reloads today

So I finally shot 20 of my reloads with my dad today. We still both have functioning firearms and hands.

We shot .45 ACP using 230g Speer TMJ RN with 4.7 gr of Bullseye behind it and Winchester primers. It felt exactly the same as Winchester WB (my normal factory ammo). If there was a difference in either recoil or accuracy it was imperceptible.

I can't wait for my Pro Autodisk to arrive!

It was awesome to see all the rounds work as expected.

Thanks for answering all my newb questions!

Andy

I'm waiting on my Pro Autodisk, as well. My scale arrives today, and I should be able to load up some 9mm. Just been waiting on the scale to check my powder charges. Using Hodgdon Clays powder at the recommendation of the guy at the gun store. We'll see how that goes.

Congrats! Now power your loads down a little bit and see how you like it. You will be amazed at how much you can soften the .45
