Good choice. I like the hand priming tool, but if I had to use Fed. primers, I'd just use the Ram-prime tool on the press since it is safe to use with them.

So far, I have only used Winchester and CCI primers and always use the hand priming tool. Hopefully one day I'll be able to buy some more to use. Maybe not, the way things are going.

Here in NZ we have certainly seen the ammo price increases and shortages but reloading components are stilll a steal and still in stock

I picked up 1000 Frontier CMJ Projectiles for like $69US, the supplier is getting another 30,000 in June and will be the same price.

Powder here, still in good supply. $28US for 500 grams

Primers $36US per 1000, Federal in good supply.

I live in Hamilton NZ, weve got a pretty trick range here,

- 25 M Target Range under cover
- 50 M Service Pistol Range
- Barricade Range
- Falling Plates Range
- Moving Target Range
- Multiple berms for IPSC Action Shooting
- World Class Indoor Air Pistol

We get our own keys and can pretty much come and go as we please, most days your lucky to find 2 or 3 people at the range so you pretty much get the whole place to yourself.

Living wise Hamilton is Central to our main city Auckland (1.5 hour drive), beachs are all 30 min to 1 hour away.

Hamiton has it all

- River walks
- Native bush walks
- Inner City Lake
- V8 Street Race once per year
- Football Stadium
- Theatres for Comedy Shows, Plays etc.
- Affordable housing ($290-330US will get you a brand new house and land package built to your specs), pre loved houses in nice areas $220-240K US).

I should be a Tourism Operator instead of a web designer :)

LOL

Seriously Hamilton is great, NZ is great, if anyone wants to know more just ask me.

For Federal, PMC or other primers that Lee advises against in the Auto Prime or the Hand Primer, I just use a Lee Ram Prime, do them one at a time and I know there won't be any issues. Costs about $10 and installs like a regular die.
