.41 mag bullet mould

Hi , I finally decided to buy a S&W .41 , can someone recommend accrucate and quality swc bullet mould ?

Plus 12 or so years back I picked up a .41 3 screw Ruger in a trade and decided that if I owned one I'd at least reload for it. I don't use jacketed bullets in any handgun so I opted to try one of Lee's moulds even tho a lot of their designs don't appeal to me.....anyway, I ordered the 200 gr swc and I have had really great results with it. Now that said, I don't tumble lube as Lee recommends, rather I run the bullets thru my Lyman .410 sizer. Even tho the lube grooves are too shallow in my opinion they do work well. Lube I use is Javelina brand alox.

Thats the first .41 I've owned, and frankly I wish I'd picked up a S&W in the caliber years ago. It is extremely accurate and doesn't have the recoil of the .44.

My take is that it's a good call and the Lee moulds are about as cheap as you can go.........Course you could opt for others at way more than double the new Lee price of course.

As an aside I'll mention that I have swaged .44 bullets (Lymans 429244) to .401 and used them with success.....heavier weights are a bit difficult to locate in that caliber so I thought I'd try an alternative approach.

RCBS makes a classic 210gr Keith style.
CastBoolits forum has or soon will have a group buy on a brass mold with cramer hollowpoint pins, just reverse the pins and it goes from a HP to a flat nose.
