LCP Kaboom
Guy on the ruger forum titled it "Laser explodes, destroys LCP"
He had a squiib load and didn't realize it. Got the kaboom on the next round. What was cool was crimson trace and ruger both replaced the laser and the LCP. He said he explained what happened, his fault, and asked if he could get a replacement deal. Good on Ruger and crimson Trace.

Wow, I can't imagine having that blow up in my hands. I had a Mossy 500 barrel blow a chunk out the side of it about two inches in front of the fore stock and did not get hurt luckily. Mossberg only sent me a new barrel and an apology, not even a whole new gun.

Wow what a way to ruin a range session, but from the picture it looks as if the laser still works, great durability after such a shock.

I do not know why people that feel a difference in the sound/recoil will not clear their weapon and check the chamber for obstructions,In most cases the gun will FTE or jam and they go ahead and chamber a new round.I have encountered several squib rounds at the range, none in a very long time, but I will not pull off another round until I check for an obstruction
