Wheel Weights Question

I know the wheel weights with the metal clips are good for casting bullets, but are the stick on ones the same type of lead and just as good to use for casting as well? My tire shop just lets me have their lead so i have about 300lbs of the clip on and stick on weights right now. The guy i'm going to go over and melt them down with doesn't know since he's really only done the clip on and bought lead. Tried a search for it but i seem to suck with the search functions on this forum (and all the other forums i'm on) for some reason.

My understanding is that the stick on weights are softer than the clip on ones, but still harder than pure lead.

I melt them all together,some of the weights are made out of Zinc IIRC and melts at a lot higher temp than lead,so if you have some sitting in molten lead that aren't melting pitch them with the steel clips

The strip/stick on wheel weights are soft enought that me and several other black powder shooters seperate them from the regular wheel weights and use them to cast bullets for the black powder rifles.
