Note I just sent to the Brady Campaign

My little Devil horns were sticking out, so I had to engade in a little mischief. Below is a copy of a note I just emailed off to shootfirst.org:

Quote:
Dear Sir or Ma'am;

I was wondering if I could convice you to spend some of your advertising money here in Colorado.

I've seen pictures of the billboards, newspaper ads and leaflets your organization has been putting out.

Since we have the same deadly-force provisions here is Colorado as they do in Florida, and in fact have had them much longer, I thought you might want to let people know about them as well.

Anything you could do would be a big help in letting criminals know their activities won't be tolerated here either.

Sincerely,

Not sure if it belongs here or in Humor.

Hey, maybe they WILL start putting up billboards in States (where it's true) announcing the (to them) deplorable fact that scumbags might legally get shot if they try to hurt innocent people.....we can hope!

A fine effort, tanksoldier.

Maybe they'll even write you back. Please do let us know!

Shoot, if they were to tell the truth, there's lots of places the GGs can blow the BGs away, Castle Doctrine just makes the clean-up a lot easier.

That's the one.

Really not a bad sign at all. They started with the "blood running in the streets" BS. Saw a quote from a Fla Congresscritter or somesuch worried that children trick-or-treating would be blown away while standing on peoples' doorsteps. When that didn't pan out I guess they tried to be more subtle.

Okay,

You got me cranked up on this and here's the one that I just sent:

Dear Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence,

I would like to thank you for your campaign in Florida. You have put the criminals on notice that the public will not cower to them.

It's amazing that everywhere right to carry laws have been put in place, the violent crime rate has dropped. In addition, there are not any more deaths due to guns. I can't believe that you don't push this statistic within your organization.

Conversely, everywhere that guns are banned and confiscated, violent crimes rates have gone up. Theses are indisputable facts and I'm not using any fuzzy math to support my position.

Sincerely,
