for the news it has changed from telling people what is really going on to trying to compete for ratings and they will stop at nothing to give people something to shock

or peak their interest. Im telling you right now if they just told you what crimes were committed each day by the numbers.......there would be more people trying to buy guns not control them. problem is they do this PARTIALLY and skew (sp?) those numbers to get people to see what they want them to see...guns are bad

honestly what you read on the internet news is not really any better. written by the same people mostly. 99.9% of the news is trash

It always puzzled me how journalists take their oath to be unbias and report the news as accurate and error free as possible and then turn around and BLAITENTLY disregard it.

It happens on both sides, ABC & NBC are clearly more liberal and FOX gravitates openly to the right. Agreeing with either side is just as bad!NEWS SHOULD BE NEWS, NOT "Tonight on IMHO we'll be reporting from......"

I would like someone to challenge them on the "Wild, Wild West." (I would, but I do not watch TV) Not that it would do any good, nor that they would report it, but their picture of the so-called wild, wild west came from Hollywood not from reality. I guess it would probably surprise them to discover that the wild, wild west had a lower crime rate than the cities they live it. I wonder why? Could it be because everyone was armed?

Sorry but the opinions of the networks is the last baying of an old horse sinking into the swamp.

When people whine to me about self-defense I ask them: If I can train someone to fly a 747, a 50,000 DWT ship, to be a police officer, why can’t I train them to defend themselves? Then I point out that in Canada and the US, no has the legal duty to defend you except for yourself.
