Ted Kennedy and fluorescent pink airguns that require permits and probably ammo controls. My father always claimed MA was really not an American state.

There must be something in the water up there. Don't forget their other long time Senator, John F. Kerry, but he's ok 'cause he goes goose hunting during campaigns.lol

Seriously, I understand these people's thinking. Banning airguns? This goes to show that they are not interested in crime, they are interested in control. Banning airguns will ensure that future generations don't become part of the much feared "gun cultutre".

That's just sad!

(Don't suppose we can get legislation passed to ban Kennedy? )

Not to mention some of the best food on the east coast. Man, I miss Smithfields.

I remember having this conversation/debate with a guy that work in Walmart's hunting and fishing section. He said many jurisdictions classify airguns as "firearms", even though there isn't any "fire" involved in the operation. Basically, it's a murky set of standards that makes it so anything that propells a pellet, slug, bb, etc. over a certain feet per second, a firearm. As such, making all rules governing actual handguns effective for airguns (discharge in city limits, used in the comission of a crime, brandishing, blah, blah, blah)
