Carrying on Indian reservation
Just found this at packing.org.
Seems to be another good reason for reciprocity. IIRC, reservations are treated like sovereign nations, and can make their own laws, irrespective of the state they are in, or the USA, within certain limits. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Governed by Tribal Laws I've spent a good deal of time in the South West so I enjoy tribal heritage and their governments. I just did a quick web search on Mohegan and found the following municipal code: Link: http://www.municode.com/resources/ga...id=13768&sid=7 You can find the the gun Laws in Chapter 6 ARTICLE V. FIREARMS Sec. 6-121. Permit Required. No person shall carry any pistol, revolver, rifle, shotgun or any other firearm within the boundaries of The Mohegan Reservation for any purpose unless said person has been issued a permit to carry such firearm by The Mohegan Tribal government. Provisions to apply for and issue such permit may be enacted at some later time, at the discretion of The Mohegan Tribal Council. (Ord. No. 97-02, § 1, 2-28-1997)
