So, yesterday I decided was the day that I would finally join the NRA. I'd been mulling it over for a while and had always hesitated joining because I felt that they compromise too much.

I do realize that they are the 800lb bear that's on your/our side although you can't control it though, so I figured that it wouldn't hurt to join. Another magazine for throne time is always good anyways.

Well, funny thing is, I get home from work and there's a letter from the NRA (gun owners survey) asking me to join with a 10 dollar reduction in membership fees along with a free pocket knife of some kind. Man, talk about weird. Mailed it out today, and I figured some of you would get a laugh about that story.
