Philadelphia also has a big problem because they're about 36 feet away from New Jersey. (No offense to any New Jerseyans in the crowd)

I spend a lot of time in Philadelphia, and so long as they don't prevent me from CARRYING, I'll be fine. I can buy a gun anywhere.

If the state has any guts the AG will issue warrants for the arrest of the council members who vote for the measure. Then send the state police to arrest them. I'd love to see somebody in this country stand up to places like San Francisco and the others who think that they can violate state laws without any repercussions. It would probably only take one case like that to solve the problem. Instead the state usually waits until an individual files suit agains the city and then joins in. What that usually means is that the state doesn't want to enforce the law.

It would probably take several, stupidity being what it is these days. But, ditto on the sentiment. Start with Nagin. That would be the perfect place to begin.
