Given it is a state law I wonder if NY would extradite Mr. Bloomberg? Likely not I think. However, it should give any of the PI outfits that worked on the previous effort serious pause to do it again. Bloomberg will leave them twisting in the wind if they get caught. I do believe a felony would put any PI out of business in a hurry in VA.

So Bloomberg can send his own people to VA to perform the stings so that we can arrest them and toss them in jail. Maybe they will sing enough that Blooberg would come to VA and be arrested then.

Naw...he would let them rot in jail as well.

Wouldn't a felony (Conspiracy to commit a felony is a felony in some states) take Mr. Bloomberg out of the Presidential race as well? Hmmm... It may only take one or two of those shops to actually press charges.

Sorry to dig this up after a week.
