I take back half of what I said about Glock

The Outdoor Wire has posted that the NRA has given Glock an award for their recruitment efforts.

But I still don't like their pistols.

Everything is plastic these days, that car outside - probably runs a similar ratio of plastic to metal as a Glock.
Plastic panels, plastic interior, plastic hood even. We had a $40,000 Volvo S80T6 a few cars ago, plastic hood...

So I'm fine with plastic guns, as long as they work and the price is right then why not?

Go ahead and laugh. But while you have to spend time cleaning your 1911 after a day at the range, all I have to do is throw my Glock in the dishwasher.

Good one. I remember the Beach Police in Daytona Beach FL had the same attitude back in the early 90s. That is why they each went through a Glock a season. The suckers were rusted and jammed shut from the salt air and fine beach sand. God forbid anyone due normal maintenance on a Glock...
