The only thing I can think of to say about these people that comply with the rules of this forum is that I dislike them with an unusual intensity.

No you don't. The NRA has made too many statements and actions in favor of limiting firearms freedoms lately. Send your support to the GOA instead.

The big bad NRA is listed #31 of the top 101 contributors to national politics. You would be surprized what's the top 30 (and even top 10).

If you get a chance... go there and see the numbers (this covers 1989 -2006 PACS, individual and soft money contributions).
