In England, where a doctor's group has recommended banning kitchen knives because they are used in half the nation's stabbing murders, the government is expected to announce that it will move forward with a ban on toy guns one year after saying that it would be impractical to do so because of the difficulty defining what is a replica gun and what is an obvious unrealistic toy or squirt gun.

I think that's a GREAT idea. Then they can ban what ever is next (cricket bats?) and keep going till there is nothing left but spoons (maybe). And when they are all sitting there freezing (Fire could be a weapon!), and starving.......... MAYBE someone in this country will realize just how stupid all this banning stuff gets!

Australia instituted sword and machete control and is considering knife control. Scotland has been talking about knife control. Now, Australia is discussing the problem of sticks and clubs. Eventually, they will get to rocks.

They have yet to decide tho what constitutes an ''assault rock'' - I am thinking it may be something above one pound in weight but, who knows!

I believe the housing industry will suffer too before long as house-bricks may be outlawed.

There is a risk to industry too probably, as steel toed boots may come under scrutiny - seems just too many ''good kickin's'' goin on.

One thing is gonna be a real bummer tho - the transition to all plastic silverwear - can't help thinking of all the knives and forks that'll be buried!
