Everyone should have the "right" to the internet
And the "Right to Bear Arms" should be a privilege
Sorry prettyboy but I think that's WRONG ANSWER!

No offense taken.

We simply discourage political discussions in the forum, except as it relates to the 2A.

I'm glad that I still retain the right to never cast a vote for Pretty Boy Edwards.
And...it's also my personal privilege to ignore him whenever possible.

I'm afraid almost all the candidates feel the same way.

Yep. ^^

There are just three candidates that support legal ownership, possesion, use and citizen self-defense;

In alphabetical order...

Ron Paul (R)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Politic...ns_of_Ron_Paul
http://www.ronpaul2008.com

Bill Richardson (D)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Politic...itical_beliefs
http://www.richardsonforpresident.com

Fred Thompson (R)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Politic..._Fred_Thompson
http://www.fred08.com/index.aspx

The other candidates of note (e.g. real contenders) be they left, right , and there are no viable reps from the center, are either affirmed as being anti-gun/anti-2A (Hillary & Obama) or talk out the left side of their mouth on this specific subject whilst purporting themselves to stand amongst those of the right (Giuliani & Romney).

If 2A and gun control and crime and sporting use of firearms and lawful defense of self, property, and allowance to possess firearms in general or on your persons in specific are of any importance to ones self then the above three candidates are pretty much ones only reasonable and real choice.
Additional info for those who prefer quick read summations can be found here; http://www.ontheissues.org/Gun_Control.htm and http://www.thebostonchannel.com/comp...tes/index.html and http://www.candidatescomparison.com.

Of the three I do not honestly believe any of them have a chance at winning nomination for the job of "Decider".
At best 2 of the 3 make for good VP material. :\

IMAO most of the candidates of the Democrat Party are weak prospects. I was raised to vote with the Dems and continued to do so until Bill Clinton ran and was elected. At that point in my life I began to question everything the party stood for and changed my affiliation. John Edwards embodies some of the worst things about the current platform of the DNC. Right to bear arms is a huge issue for me and I will vote for candidates who protect my rights to bear and to carry.
