The vote tally was still too close for my personal preference.

Legislators tabled a third bill that would require owners to promptly report lost or stolen guns.

Not sure how I feel about this one. I'm thinking if one of my guns was stolen I'd probably report it anyway. But like other gun laws, this one is pretty unenforcable when it comes to bad people doing bad things.
We had a similar bill in Maine. Many of the legislative subcommite were opposed to this type of legislation. They agreed (!!) that it would/could criminalize simply being a victim.

What is so difficult about locking up the criminals?

You fail to report a stolen gun, and they want to make you a criminal...

The criminal steals a gun, robs and kills...repeatedly...he gets probation, time off for good behavior, case thrown out of court because the secretary forgot to dot an 'i'...

It's time to put the politicians in jail for failing to lock up the criminals...

The liberals in PA and the rest of the country are selling out our rights and freedoms...

At least there are still a few conservatives left in the PA gov't...enough to try and hold down the fort...but for how long?

Stay armed...stay safe!

Gov Rendildo...oops sorry typo...Rendell has been itching to tamper with the PA Constitution ever since he took office.
I don't want to get myself all miffed out before Turkey Day but, his office is getting a call from me after Thanksgiving.
I want to find out specifically if he took his oath to support all of the PA Constitution or just the selected parts of it that he personally likes.
