This action was the defining moment that I decided to join the NRA again. I've never been prouder of them. I've read a million stories about that storm and lived through the aftermath (albeit on a much lighter scale) but I've never seen or read anything that could excuse taking guns from law abiding citizens and even little old ladies by force...It was disgusting.

And nobody has paid the price for such a illegal order either!

These are different times my friend. Back then, they were fighting for their freedom and a new way of life. Today, we are born into that freedom and haven't had to fight for anything. I would venture that freedom meant more to them than it does to people today. Could it be that much of America takes their freedoms for granted? Most people can't deal when their AC doesn't work or the cable is shut off.

Last I heard, the NRA was looking for victims to testify in the lawsuit against the city. So maybe justice will be served......

I certainly hope so. They need to not only sue the city, but those jbts personally for that. Seeing them slamming that old woman while their slimeball co-workers were robbing the Wal-Mart just makes my BLOOD BOIL

Common Sense by Thomas Paine

I think it still makes sense today.......

If only it was still common.

The book is one of the greats, right up there with Blackstone, The Art of War, and Atlas Shrugged.

This forum prohibits the discussion of illegal activity, I will therefore keep my mouth shut.

But you are all welcome to read my signature to see how I feel about this.

They can have my guns---------------- I'm almost 52 years old and as soon as I run out of ammo or laying dead on the floor I guess they can come in and get them. I've been lucky and had a good life. Some one has got to stand up for this country and I've got too many guns to just roll over and give them away. I've got an inside storm shelter that the rest of my family can go down into and be safe from the stray shot. I do however have lots of ammo already loaded up in the magazines. I just hope they send my ex-son-in-law to try to illegally take them. When I run out of .308 in the M1A, 30-06 in the M1 Garand & 03A3 & .223 in the Bushmaster if I'm still alive they will have to make me use up my .257 Roberts, 6mm, 243, 30-30 & 30 Belted Newton, 375 H&H & 45/70. It just does not make sense for them to try at that point. If it came to that they would probably do the Waco thing on me and call in artillery or armored equipment.

Edited to add: Somehow I accidently deleted the post right before Cdwolf's...it was my fault this thread was brought back from the dead...not Cdwolf's.
