Has anyone heard any estimates on how long it is going to be before the court makes a ruling?

I didn't really know who he was, but I've seen his name on voting records and such. After looking at his website and reading the above commentary on the hearing, I'm looking to maybe help him run for the gov-nah in '09

I am pretty sure that the Supreme Court is getting ready to go on vacation. Is the DC gun ban case going to settled before vacation starts?

Supposedly there will be an 'extra ruling' this Thursday. Normally, their decisions are handed out on Monday mornings. No word on if the Heller case will he the one they announce on Thursday.

I was just talking about this today...as I searched and searched for more guns to buy...I don't have everything I want yet. I also know that if this comes out bad for us I never will. If it comes out on our side Momma is going to be EXTREMELY irritated that she got a gun for Mother's Day and is getting a gun for her birthday (6/17) and NOT the diamond earrings requested.

Please look for me after the decision...if it goes our way I may turn up missing, around 6/17.

I called the Information Office for the Supremes today, and the lady answering the phone indicated that there may be opinions issued on Thursday, 12 June.

The schedule indicates that 12 June is a Conference Day.

Check here, starting after 1000 EDT.

2007 Term Opinions of the Court

If they issue opinions on these conference days for the rest of the term, we could find out on:

12 June - Thursday - Conference Day
16 June - Monday - Non-argument Session
19 June - Thursday - Conference Day
23 June - Monday - Non-argument Session
