"He needed killin" is the proper defense. Doesn't matter whether or not he was shot, beat to death or other. If beaten "He had it coming" is covered but not necessarily if you just shoot him.

I heard the Supreme Court term ends Jun 24; if that's the case, Jun 23 would be the only chance prior to recess.

According to SCOTUSblog there is only 1 decision day next week - Monday June 23. Of course, the court is free to add extra decision days if they want to and the author of scotusblog believes that they will do so since there are still 10 opinions outstanding this term and they most likely cannot issue all 10 in one day (well they could, but...).

If the court adds extra decision days, then it most likely be next Thursday (for one extra day) or next Wednesday and Thursday (for 2 extra days) in addition to Monday's normal decision day.

So, it looks like we'll know next week sometime.
