No Heller today.

Biting fingernails, edge of seat ... very distracted here at work. I won't be able to think of much else for a while. Until then, there is the anticipation and immediately afterwards the analysis.

I also am very nervous. After the recent gaffes (terrorists in Cuba being treated as citizens & taking property from citizens if it enlarges the tax base) I am unsure how to think about this. I am excited about the potential though, we could free some friends in the firearm world in the more restrictive states if all goes well down the road.

I'm betting: it's ruled to be an individual right, but also that government hacks are allowed to determine reasonable restrictions despite the fact that the 2A specifically states that it's a protected right that "shall not be infringed."

Let me know if can find somebody to take that bet...I'll give them odds. That's exactly what they are going to say. Individual right, reasonable restrictions for public safety, yada yada yada...

With the recent cases, I just hope it goes that well for us.
