Actually the list is wrong. They wanted to do it on the VT Drill Field, but the school refused to give them a permit.

Im not sure of the correct stats, but according to the protest website for NJ, 32 people die by gunfire every day in the U.S. which equals 11,680 people in a non-leap year. So that leaves 88,320 at a minimum who are wounded by gunfire in a year according to their stats. Of those people, how many are criminals killed or injured by other criminals? How many people die each year as a result of automobile accidents? Other than anti-drunk driving groups, who advocates any change of driving laws to combat the excessive loss of life from auto accidents?

I was there at the Kansas one. There were about 40 people (mostly kids) including allot of media; all the TV stations in KC. There was one other pro 2A guy there (not from KSCCW nor MOCCW). KSHB channel 41 briefly interviewed both of us.
It was very windy so I don't know how the audio of my camera will turn out. I asked the leader a few questions about CCW. He said he supported it, but then I asked about campuses and he said that was a "sanctuary" and should not be allowed, and how the killer was intent on killing (lot's of ammo) and nothing would have stopped it. He then walked off to dodge the questioning by me and the other pro-gun guy. He talked to the media about "closing the gun show loop-hole" and banning "high capacity" magazines. I told the media that the killer bought his guns through an FFL, not a "loop-hole", and that NICS has already been altered to bar people who have been judged mentally unstable. I also mentioned the lady who stopped the church shootings in CO. I wish I has a big KSCCW sign. We would have gotten it on TV. I could not handle that and push a stroller though (I had my toddler with me). Other than that, the whole thing was a typical group grope n' hug hold hands pansy-fest. Makes me want to go to the range. Here is my YouTube video. Sorry for the poor audio. It was very windy today. YouTube - Kansas Anti-Gun Lie-In |

Typical of the antis, don't want to debate but love to talk to captive or sympathetic audiences.

Here are the news reports from ch 41 last night:
YouTube - OP Anti-Gun Lie-In Media Report I wonder if this group will show up at the KC (Bannister Mall) gun show in a couple of weeks. The media was all over it. |

I regret to say I was unable to protest their protest as I had forgotten all about an extra work shift I had signed up for. The good news, I haven't seen any local news outlets cover the event...
