Business groups challenge guns-at-work law

First lawsuit being filed to challenge the new Florida law that allows employees to lock their guns in their cars while at work if if their employers say they do not want guns on their property. This was already the law, it just keeps the employers from being able to take away a right guaranteed by the laws & constitution.

Somebody should give them a hint. It was legal for me to have it in my car before this law and it will still be legal if they reverse this law. I even legally carry at work, against company policy *gasp*! I DESPISE people that try to keep me from protecting myself. I hope that they get threatened within an inch of their lives so that they can see our side and be some of our strongest supporters.

You mean like in Oklahoma, where the law was overturned?

I'm just saying don't get cocky, if we let our guard down (we being: gun rights advocates) we make it too easy for our foes.

Chambers of Commerce are against anything that tells merchants what to do or what to allow.

I was a member of 2 CofCs for many years and worked closely with the top leadership. I know the mentality!
