How about a forum poll?
Guns make your home safer? Well, no-not really--although a tornado may be seen as a lethal threat--I can't defend against that. Guns do however make my life, myself and my family safer. That being said--my first s.a. comment of the day is done.

Safer? Well safer than just a phone...
Depends upon the situation...I'd rather have it and not need it than need it (a sidearm) and not have it...

Stay armed...even at home...stay safe!

I believe it was Lima who was asked, "Do you feel safer carrying a gun?"

Her response was right on. She said, "No, not safer. But better prepared to handle the situation."

LOL... Good analogy there. The liberals who were so concerned about child rapists and throat cutters would most likely take your answer to mean "NO" because anything not safe for criminals is not a good thing in their little world of Oz, La La land or where ever they find themselves in with their wishful thinking.

Lunch with Liberals

I met w/3 former coworkers for lunch in NJ and I found out very quickly that they were all going to vote for Obama. I purposely brought up the 2A decision and they state it was wrong and that it was meant for a militia only.
Also that the "flood gates" will be opened up. (Sound familiar?)

I stated that if the restaurant we were in was invaded w/a gun carrying BG and he started shooting us and a person w/CWP was able to stop him. The reply was that "what if I accidently killed an innocent bystander?"

They didn't want to hear that a student at Va Tech, if armed, may have prevented some of the killings. Only that the gun was purchased by the shooter legally.

When I stated that I have the right to defend myself in my home I got a lecture about some guy that was hiding in his closet to surprise a family member on their birthday and he was shot dead.
Then I was asked where my guns were while I was away from home. I told them I brough one of them w/me and was taped above the toilet hidden in the mens room. Geez .. ask a stupid question...
I see Libs on TV and want to pound my head w/a rubber mallet and now talking to them first hand I can tell you that they belong in their own country with their own laws.

What possible logic could anyone in their the right mind have to respond with a "not safer" vote for that particular poll ?
