Interesting grouping...although the samples really mean nothing...too few!
I am amazed at those who only see more violence...guess you'd have to have been a helpless victim to understand.

Stay armed...buy a gun...stay safe!

It's not about guns!

I continue to be amazed and concerned by how few note the real story here. The Heller decision did not"give" anyone the right to own or bear a firearm. The right to self-defense (along with free speech, assembly; the right to worship) is an "in-allienable" right provided by our "Creator". The Bill of Rights was constructed by the Founders to prevent government (state, local, federal etc.) from encroaching upon our individual Creator-given rights. Heller simply and clearly tells government that it went too far and needs to back off. In my opinion this action was LONG overdue on this and a number of other fronts

Limiting access to personal defense tools because of crimes committed with those same type of tools is about the same as limiting conversation because someone might say something offensive. We should be appauled and outraged by any governmental attempt to limit our individual freedom regardless of its form.

Serious facts are what is lacking in the sample responses.

The anti's are screaming "blood in the streets" which we know is just hype. The confused kumbya crowd is simply confused and scared that crime will increase and that they will become victims.

What no one seems to really point out is the fact that since last Thursday NOTHING noteworthy has happened. There haven't been rampant gun sales to barred persons. No "loophole" events. No children being murdered by their parent's guns. No school shootings. NOTHING at all.

Yet, the DC ban has already been struck down and all seems as peaceful as it was before. I wonder why.

It amazes me we have so many people who are blissfully ignorant.

Everywhere CCW is the law, violent crime decreased. Everywhere there are more gun laws than cresidents, violent crime increased. Many of the whiners are from the "do it for me" generation and need the government to guide them through every rough spot in their miserable lives.

Strange that their plots on the map excluded most of the midwest, the real West (meaning almost all western states that are not located on the left coast) and all of the south. Let's hear from the folks in WY, KS, FL, GA, AL, KY, TN, AZ, the Dakotas.....oh wait those people are all gun nuts, nevermind..

Seems kinda fishy to me.

Yeah, they couldn't find anyone in Georgia, Texas, or Florida who wanted to talk about gun rights? I mean TEXAS for Pete's sake? Riiiight. Methinks they cherry picked their responses a bit.

I didn't understand what the Massachusetts person was saying, though I am sure that person has never fired a gun. He/she claimed that a handgun can't hit anyone beyond 10 feet? Or that an "assault rifle" is made for killing rapidly at close range? I don't think she's seen me hit plates at 300 yards with my 16 inch AR.

I believe the person was under the impress that the trigger is like a fire hose and it just sprays death in a general direction and everything downrange dies instantly.

Some interesting takes since the Heller decision:

The San Antonio paper front page headline reads: AMERICANS DO HAVE RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS

They followed that with a photo of a mother practicing at the local range with her kids seated behind her. They had other people's opinions as well, only one of the 5 had a negative opinion about the ruling.

Sunday's edition had an article in the sports' section about professional athletes having to protect themselves with firearms.

Saturday I was invited to the range by a friend of mine who teaches CHL classes; When I got there two of my former high school classmates were there taking their CHL class. Much to my surprise I found out that they took my advice I gave them at a Christmas party last year. What made them take the plunge was an incident with a mentally ill neighbor who threatened them with death basically. To see the woman now dressed up in all her gear with an XD strapped to her hip was a change indeed.

We celebrated the Heller decision by spending the whole afternon at the range practicing shooting drills and safe gun handling to get them both started. i am hoping they take the rest of my advice and get involved in IDPA to further hone their skills. Just six months ago, this couple was totally anti-gun.........

Media manipulating the polls again - still - some more - as always. Will we ever get the truth? Probably not because the truth goes against what they (liberal media) believe.
