Legal Assisstance Needed in NC for denied permit

Greetings,

I am looking for a lawyer type who is up on NC CCW permit regulations. Have a good friend who was denied his permit by our local sherifff due to attending therapy sessions for alcohol. He had a run in three years ago with the law (not arrested but involutaraly commited for raising hell while at a .032 BAC) and has been clean and sober for over 2 years but was still denied a permit. I told him IMO it was BS but am not a lawyer. Any help would be appreciated. He is a good guy and I think he's getting the short end of the stick.

North Carolina Concealed Carry

If he is doing the Personal Protection Courses he has a lawyer to help or is one himself. If he can't won't help find any NRA Instructor doing the Personal Protection courses and get the name of their lawyer.

Might also try these guys for the same.
