Well since the question is wether a private employeer can set conditions for its employees I had to vote yes.
I don't think that it should be illegal for an employee or anyone else to carry a firearm at Disney. But if Disney wants to fire employees who bring a gun then I think they have that right, just as they have the right to fire an employee for failing a drug test or any other reason.

I really don't like questions like this. They completely misrepresent the situation. Employees wouldn't be "bringing guns to work", they would be leaving their guns secured in their vehicles.
One could reasonably expect that the question as worded: "Should Disney be able to stop employees from bringing guns to work?" would generate a different answer than "Should Disney be allowed to ignore FL state law and thus prevent employees from having handguns in their parked cars while said cars are parked on Disney property?" I'll say it once and I will say it again: Property rights do not trump "inalienable rights granted to us by our creator".
Whenever that happens to the extreme, you have a dictatorship and no human rights......

READ the article people !
Its is not about the right of an employer to restrict arms on private property. It is about the right of the employees to leave a gun in their vehicle for protection driving to and from work or anything else they may do when away from work. A right protected by state law. Disney is using a little known clause in the law which says that anyone with an explosives license can restrict guns.Since they have one for their massive fireworks display, they are using that to prevent their employees from keeping their guns n the parking lot. Its semantics, pure and simple. and its a bunch of baloney. Disney has been traditionally anti gun and pro wrong in more ways than one. They don't care about the welfare of their employees or their customers. They care only about the almighty dollar.
