Phoney ad from Treadwell in CD-20
Sandy Treadwell put out a large, full color mailer titled "Standing up for New York Sportsmen" in which he claims:
"Sandy Treadwell will support legislation to end frivolous lawsuits against gun manufacturers. These lawsuits are a backdoor attempt to restrict gun ownership. They are unfair." Apparently it did not occur to anyone in his campaign that Congress passed the Protection in Lawful Commerce in Arms Act three years ago. Unless he's got a DeLorean parked in the garage, there's no way he's going back to support that bill.
